In addition to DJ sets, dance workshops and live music, Saturday was the emotional center of the event: on the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See-Kaprun, the “highest country & western line dance workshop” was held against an impressive mountain backdrop - a world record that was officially confirmed by the Record Institute for Germany (RID). The festival came to an atmospheric end on Sunday with the traditional march-in the traditional march-in and a morning pint. On June 26, the specially composed festival song “Take Me Higher” by the band Midnight Creek will be released. The track will be available on all major streaming platforms.
"When you see how much passion and energy our guests put into their dancing, you immediately feel that the Line Dance AlpFestival is much more than just an event - it is a place where real joy and a lively community come together. The line dance community impresses us anew every year with its special strength and solidarity. The atmosphere at almost 2,000 meters was tremendous. The fact that there were even more dancers this year than last year makes us particularly proud - a new record that shows how strongly this festival is anchored in people's hearts," says Manuel Resch, Managing Director of Zell am See-Kaprun Tourismus GmbH.
